Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized query strings
Published Feb 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
OS command injection in TOTOLINK T10 firmware 5.9c.5061_B20200511 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via QUERY_STRING. The Main function processes the request's QUERY_STRING value without sufficiently neutralizing shell metacharacters before OS command execution. The affected interface is network-reachable without authentication, and successful exploitation runs commands in the application's execution context.
