Unauthenticated command execution via QUERY_STRING injection
Published Feb 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
OS command injection in the Main function of TOTOLink A3600R firmware 4.1.2cu.5182_B20201102 allows remote attackers to execute commands. The Main function passes attacker-controlled QUERY_STRING content into command execution without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Network access to the router interface is sufficient; successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands with the firmware process privileges and can fully control the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
