OS command injection in TP-Link TL-WR840N(ES) firmware 6.20_180709 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary system commands. The oal_startPing component inserts attacker-controlled ping input into an operating-system command without neutralizing command separators. The exposed path requires no authentication or user interaction, and successful injection runs commands with the router service's privileges.
