Published May 31, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Cross-site scripting in wangEditor 4.7.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted uploaded-image data. UploadImg inserts returned image source, alternative-text, and link values into an HTML string without neutralizing attribute-breaking input. Exploitation requires image-upload access and another user to render the crafted editor content, enabling script execution in that user's browser.
