Arbitrary file disclosure via unsanitized logo path
Published Jul 25, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Path traversal in QR Code Generator 5.2.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files via crafted QR logo data. The /ajax/process.php endpoint passes the unsanitized POST optionlogo value to mergeImage(), which embeds the attacker-selected path as an SVG image reference. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests expose readable application, configuration, or operating-system files.
