Authenticated cross-form admin access via shared session state
Published Feb 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Authentication bypass in JQueryForm.com forms before 2022-02-05 allows remote authenticated users to access other forms' administrative sections. admin.php checks the shared $_SESSION['authenticated'] flag before validating credentials for the requested form, so one form's valid session is accepted by every form on the server. Exploitation requires administrative access to one form and at least two generated forms hosted under the same server-side session, exposing the other forms' administrative data and controls.
