SSRF via unchecked URL in eID script
Published Feb 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SSRF in Kitodo.Presentation before 2.3.2, 3.0.0 through 3.2.2, and 3.3.0 through 3.3.3 allows remote attackers to read server-accessible content. The extension's eID script accepts an attacker-supplied URL without an access check and fetches the referenced resource from the web server. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposure is limited to files and webpages reachable with the server's own access.
