Stack overflow in Silicon Laboratories EmberZNet 1.0.0 through 7.0.1 allows remote attackers to reset devices via malformed Zigbee packets. Silicon Labs has not disclosed the affected packet field, parsing routine, or faulty bounds operation within the stack. Reachability requires Zigbee radio proximity but no authentication or user interaction; the resulting assertion resets the device and immediately clears the error.
