Code injection in IPCOMM GmbH ipDIO 3.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute stored script code through configuration parameters. The Administrative Services web application loads configuration-related parameters without filtering and renders the stored values as executable code. Execution occurs when a legitimate user uploads, copies, downloads, or deletes an existing configuration, exposing that user session and device operations to the injected script.
