CVE-2022-24867Network attack vector

LDAP root password disclosure via CFG_GLPI serialization

Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Information disclosure in GLPI before 10.0.0 allows remote attackers to read an LDAP root account password from rendered page source. CFG_GLPI serialization filters several secret fields but omits the legacy ldap_pass key, leaving its plaintext value in JavaScript emitted by the page footer. Exposure requires a legacy ldap_pass value retained after a configuration-dump migration; the disclosed secret is the configured LDAP root DN password.
