CVE-2022-24864Network attack vector

Email-client XSS via unsanitized presale form data

Published Apr 20, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Origin Protocol Website before c12d2f2 allows remote authenticated users to alter email content via /presale/join. The /presale/join handler passes user-controlled form data to SendGrid without sanitization, placing attacker-supplied HTML or JavaScript in an email body. Script execution requires a recipient email client susceptible to XSS; otherwise, the attacker can still modify the delivered email body.
