CVE-2022-24861Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unvalidated JDBC driver

Published Apr 20, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025

Improper JDBC driver validation in vran-dev Databasir before 1.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a malicious JAR. CustomDatabaseConnectionFactory downloads a user-supplied driver JAR, loads its named class through URLClassLoader, and instantiates it without validating the driver. Any basic account that can create a database extension and trigger project synchronization can run code with the server process's privileges.
