CVE-2022-24849Network attack vector

Bot-token disclosure via cross-origin HttpClient reuse

Published Apr 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Information exposure in Aiko-IT-Systems DisCatSharp 9.8.5 through 9.9.0 and affected 10.0.0 prereleases allows attackers to obtain Discord bot tokens. The LibraryDeveloperTeam lookup mistakenly reuses the HttpClient responsible for authenticated Discord API requests when contacting a DisCatSharp-operated website. Exposure occurs only when an affected application uses either RequireDisCatSharpDeveloperAttribute or calls BaseDiscordClient.LibraryDeveloperTeam; the project reports that the receiving server did not log tokens.
