Unauthenticated document-name disclosure via unchecked Velocity searches
Published Apr 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Information disclosure in XWiki Platform before 12.10.11, 13.4.4, or 13.9-rc-1 allows remote attackers to list restricted documents. Bundled Velocity templates, including getdocuments.vm, execute document searches without filtering results against the guest user's view rights. No account or user interaction is required, and exposure is limited to document listings rather than page contents or modification.
