User enumeration via unfiltered suggestion results
Published Apr 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Information disclosure in XWiki Platform allows remote attackers to list user-related documents without view rights. The uorgsuggest.vm user-or-group suggestion template queries and returns matching XWiki user documents without filtering each result against the requesting guest's view permissions. An unauthenticated network request to the suggestion endpoint is sufficient, and the disclosed results identify wiki users even when the wiki's pages are otherwise private.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
