CVE-2022-24815Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SQL injection via literal Criteria string

Published Apr 11, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025

SQL injection in JHipster generator-jhipster 7.0.0 through 7.8.0 allows remote attackers to execute SQL in generated reactive applications. Generated EntityManager.java code passes Criteria.toString() directly to Conditions.just(), treating attacker-controlled criteria as literal SQL. Exposure requires generated entities with reactive Spring WebFlux and an R2DBC SQL database; generated SQL gateways are reactive by default.
