Application crash via malformed DNS record parsing

Heap buffer overflow in PJPROJECT 2.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash applications through crafted DNS responses. In dns.c, parse_rr() relies on name helpers whose bounds check measures a DNS label from the packet base rather than the current cursor before copying it into a heap buffer. Exposure requires PJSIP's internal DNS resolver with a configured nameserver; OS and external resolvers do not enter this parsing path.
