Signature forgery via trailing garbage acceptance

Improper cryptographic signature verification in Digital Bazaar Forge before 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to forge RSA signatures via crafted inputs. The RSA PKCS#1 v1.5 verifier decodes DigestInfo but fails to reject trailing garbage bytes, allowing padding removal and attacker-controlled data when a low public exponent is used. Exploitation requires a verifier that accepts such keys and lets attacker-supplied signatures reach this routine; successful forgery can make altered data appear authentically signed.
