A null pointer dereference in WavPack 5.4.0 allows attackers to crash the wvunpack command-line decoder via a crafted WavPack file. The main function in cli/wvunpack.c writes through a null pointer while processing malicious input, producing a segmentation fault. Local users or automated jobs that decode an attacker-supplied file can trigger a denial of service; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.
