Incorrect authorization in Bareos Director allows remote attackers with valid expired or disabled account credentials to log in via PAM. The Director's PAM login path calls the authentication phase but omits the account-management phase that enforces account validity. Exposure requires a PAM-enabled named console, granting an otherwise rejected account its configured Bareos user access.
