Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG uploads
Published Mar 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Stored XSS in Sylius before 1.9.10, 1.10.0 through 1.10.10, and 1.11.0 through 1.11.1 allows attackers to execute browser script. ImageUploader writes uploaded SVG content to the image filesystem without neutralizing embedded active content. Standard open-source deployments require admin-panel access, while Sylius Plus return requests or custom upload features broaden the gate; execution still requires direct opening or loading outside an IMG element.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 1.10.0, < 1.10.11
- Affected versionversion=>= 1.11.0, < 1.11.2
