Cross-site scripting via unsanitized voucher-code errors
Published Mar 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Shopware Platform before 6.4.8.1 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted voucher code. PromotionCollector inserts an invalid promotion code into the promotion-not-found flash message without sanitizing it, allowing markup to reach the storefront response. Exploitation requires a shopper to submit or render the crafted code, and resulting script execution is confined to that shopper's browser session.
