Cross-customer guest session access via HTTP caching
Published Mar 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Session fixation in Shopware Platform before 6.4.8.2 allows remote attackers to receive another customer's guest session via HTTP cache. The built-in HTTP cache reuses cached storefront responses without isolating their guest session state. Exposure requires Shopware's HTTP cache to be enabled and excludes Varnish setups; affected stores can mix carts or other guest-specific state between customers.
