CVE-2022-24737Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cookie disclosure via host-unbound session cookies

Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025

Information disclosure in HTTPie CLI before 3.1.0 allows remote attackers to receive session cookies through cross-host redirects. Persistent sessions stored cookies without their originating hosts, so the client attached them to outgoing requests after following redirects to other domains. Exploitation requires a cookie-bearing session and a followed attacker-influenced redirect; the destination can read the disclosed cookie but cannot alter data through this flaw alone.
