Regular expression denial of service in CKSource CKEditor 4 before 4.18.0 allows remote attackers to freeze a browser tab via dialog input. The dialog plugin applies a vulnerable validator regular expression to attacker-controlled input, causing excessive processing. An affected dialog-dependent plugin must be available and user interaction is required; the reported consequence is limited to the active browser tab.
