Confidential-header disclosure via cross-origin redirects
Published Mar 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Sensitive-data exposure in fluture-node 4.0.0 through 4.0.1 allows remote attackers to read confidential headers via crafted redirects. Built-in redirect strategies copy Authorization and Cookie headers into follow-up requests without removing them when the origin changes. Exploitation requires an application to send confidential headers through those strategies; a third-party host or cleartext HTTP listener then receives them.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
