CVE-2022-24718Network attack vector

Unintended file access via traversable SVG path

Published Mar 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Path traversal in Finastra @finastra/ssr-pages before 0.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to access unintended files via svg input. The build(MessagePageOptions) function fails to constrain the untrusted svg path to its intended directory before resolving the requested resource. Reachability depends on a consuming server application passing user-controlled svg values; successful traversal exposes filesystem content to the generated page.
