CSRF bypass via unintended HTTP methods

Cross-site request forgery in CodeIgniter 4 before 4.1.9 allows remote attackers to trigger state-changing actions via a victim's browser. Method-specific CSRF filters can be bypassed when auto-routing or routes registered with add() accept an unintended HTTP method, allowing the controller action to run without the expected protection. A victim must interact with attacker-controlled content while authenticated to an affected application, and resulting actions remain limited to the victim's application permissions.
