Authenticated database-query manipulation via unchecked date parameter
Published Feb 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
SQL injection in the Puncher plugin for Anuko Time Tracker before 1.20.0.5642 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. Puncher.php accepts an unchecked date parameter from POST requests and passes it into reused database-query code, enabling UNION and time-based blind injection. Exploitation requires authenticated access to the Puncher plugin; injected queries can expose or alter data in the application database.
