Buffer overflow in WinAPRS 2.9.0 allows local users to crash the application or execute code through a crafted national.txt file. Published sources identify national.txt processing as the locus but do not disclose the parser routine, destination buffer, or erroneous copy operation. Exploitation requires local file control, and the affected release is no longer supported by its maintainer.
