Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jul 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in DSK DSKNet 2.16.136.0 and 2.17.136.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The Touch settings accept a supposed PDF containing PHP with a .php extension, store it in the database, and copy it into the sync web folder when a crafted action page is visited. Privileged access to the Parameters page is required, after which the uploaded script executes with the web server authority.
