Database disclosure via unsanitized contact message
Published Feb 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Hospital Management System 4.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through the contact form's txtMsg parameter. contact.php interpolates the raw POST value directly into a MySQL INSERT statement and executes the assembled query without parameterization or escaping. The public contact form requires no account, and successful injection exposes database contents without reported write or service-interruption impact.
