Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked view path
Published May 29, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Path traversal in AudioCodes Device Manager Express 7.8.20002.47752 and earlier allows remote attackers to read local files. BrowseFiles.php accepts the view parameter as a download path without restricting it to the intended file area, as demonstrated by retrieval of C:/windows/win.ini. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposure is limited to files readable by the web service.
