Stored script execution via tenant description injection
Published May 29, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Stored XSS in AudioCodes Device Manager Express 7.8.20002.47752 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in a viewer's browser. ajaxTenants.php accepts the desc parameter in a tenant-save POST request and later renders the stored value without neutralizing executable markup. Access to the administrative tenant editor is required, and exploitation also requires another user to view the poisoned description.
