Authenticated SQL injection via firmware record identifier
Published May 29, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
SQL injection in AudioCodes Device Manager Express 7.8.20002.47752 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. The download action in IPPhoneFirmwareEdit.php incorporates the id parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, so a crafted UNION expression changes the query. An authenticated administrative session is required, and successful exploitation allows database data to be read, changed, or deleted.
