Authenticated stored script execution via category-name output
Published Mar 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Luocms 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another administrator's browser through a category name. getCategoryList() retrieves the stored name, passes it to getstyle(), and concatenates the result into table HTML that executes script markup. Exploitation requires administrative-backend access and a later category-list view, placing the consequence in the viewer's browser session.
