Stored XSS via unescaped Predefined condition title
Published Feb 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Checkmk 1.6.0p27 and earlier and 2.0.0p19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run browser script. A Predefined condition title is stored without proper escaping and rendered as condition text, causing embedded markup to be interpreted by the interface. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to save a crafted title and another user to display the condition, exposing the viewer to attacker-controlled browser actions.
