Information disclosure in Hyper-V Shared Virtual Hard Disks on affected Windows Server releases allows remote authenticated users to expose data. Microsoft has not published the flawed operation or the data boundary crossed when shared virtual disk content is accessed. The Hyper-V role and shared-disk configuration must be present; low-privileged network access suffices, and Microsoft also reports service interruption.
