Out-of-bounds write in Microsoft VP9 Video Extensions before 1.0.42791.0 allows attackers to execute code through VP9 content. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected decoder routine or how attacker-controlled VP9 input causes the out-of-bounds write. A victim must interact with the content, after which code runs in the victim's security context and can read, alter, or interrupt resources available to that process.
