Code execution via truncated HEIF extent length

Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft HEIF Image Extension before 1.0.43012.0 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted HEIC file. CHEIFStreamReader::ReadItemData sums untrusted iloc extent lengths as a 64-bit value, but MFCreateMemoryBuffer truncates the allocation size to 32 bits before a larger copy writes past the heap buffer. Triggering occurs when Windows generates a thumbnail after a user browses to a folder containing the file, and successful exploitation runs code in that user's context.
