SYSTEM privilege escalation via uninitialized IOCTL pointer

Privilege escalation in the Windows CD-ROM driver in affected Microsoft Windows releases allows local users to gain SYSTEM via crafted IOCTL data. The driver handles data sent to IOCTL 0x0056c064 by accessing a pointer before that pointer has been initialized. A local user who can already execute low-privileged code can exploit the condition to execute with SYSTEM privileges, gaining full control of the host.
