Account access via session IDs retained after logout

Session fixation in Silverstripe Hybridsessions 1.0.0 through 2.4.0 and 2.5.0 allows remote attackers to reuse logged-out sessions. The module leaves disk-backed session identifiers valid after logout when Session Manager is absent, so possession of an unexpired identifier still authenticates requests. Exploitation requires that module combination, disk-backed session storage, and a previously obtained session identifier; access retains the former user's privileges.
