Authenticated arbitrary object invocation via PHAR deserialization
Published Jul 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Deserialization of untrusted data in Visualizer 3.7.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to invoke arbitrary PHP objects. The remote_data parameter accepts a PHAR URI without scheme validation, causing PHP file handling to deserialize attacker-controlled archive metadata. Contributor privileges, a successfully uploaded serialized file, and a usable POP chain are required; the resulting object invocation can execute chain-defined actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
