Command injection in simple-git before 3.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute commands via crafted fetch parameters. The fetch(remote, branch, handlerFn) method passes remote and branch directly as git fetch arguments, allowing injected options such as --upload-pack to run attacker commands. Exploitation requires an application to supply attacker-controlled values; successful execution can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
