Improper privilege preservation in Dell PowerScale OneFS 8.2.x through 9.3.0.x allows remote authenticated users to escalate file privileges. Dell has not disclosed the affected code locus or the permission state that OneFS fails to preserve during remote filesystem operations. Exploitation requires a local account assigned the ISI_PRIV_SMB role and can expose information while granting unintended file privileges.
