Message injection via unauthenticated encrypted radio traffic

Cryptographic integrity failure in TETRA AIE allows physically proximate attackers to inject manipulated radio traffic. AIE encrypts traffic with a stream cipher but does not authenticate the ciphertext, so bit changes produce corresponding changes in decrypted plaintext. The attack requires an active radio position and applies to non-end-to-end-encrypted traffic, permitting forged messages and limited service interruption.
