Published Mar 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authentication in SAP SE Simple Diagnostics Agent 1.0 through 1.57 allows local users to control privileged functions. The HTTP service on localhost port 3005 accepts administrative requests without checking credentials, exposing functions that handle sensitive configuration. Local host access is required; successful requests run with sapadm privileges and can read, modify, or delete data and stop the service.
