Arbitrary file read via SMB symlink traversal

Improper link resolution in Linksys MR9600 firmware before 2.0.5 allows attackers to read arbitrary router files through an SMB share. The NAS service follows a symbolic link placed in a writable SMB share to the router's root directory and serves the linked internal files without confinement. Exploitation requires authenticated access to a writable share, including guest access, or physical access to attach a prepared USB device; exposed data includes configuration files and password hashes.
