CVE-2022-24364Network attack vector

Remote code execution via Doc object use-after-free

Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Use-after-free in Foxit PDF Reader 11.1.0.52543 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malicious page or file. The Doc-object handler performs operations without validating that the referenced object still exists, allowing a crafted document to trigger execution in the Reader process. User interaction is required to open the malicious content; successful exploitation runs code with the current process privileges.
