Root code execution via NetUSB integer overflow
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Integer overflow in TP-Link AC1750 before 1.1.4 Build 20211022 rel.59103(5553) allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code. NetUSB.ko performs an unchecked integer calculation on user-supplied data before allocating a buffer. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with root privileges from the same network segment.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
